About Paliouri
Paliouri is the southern village of Kassandra. The name of the vilalge is said that is taken from a plant which thrives in this area named ”Paliouria” .Its a tradtional village with narrow small roads and traditional houses .The folklore architecture is really unique.
Near the village on the beach side ypu can enjoy clear deep blue waters and relax on the sandy beach.
It is lying on its three sides by the sea, as it is on the cape of the first foot of Halkidiki. There are places where there is absolute peace (Canistro / Agios Nikolaos, Pefkadasos and Agios Konstantinos, Abbaras harbor) and others that are overwhelmed by people like the beach bars of Xenia / Chrousso beach . On 15 August, the village is filled with tourists, as there is a feast set up in the village square.
